    My BR N-1 has been fine so far but I’ve only used it down to -14° C, the real test will come in December/January. I’ll be using it at work (van/outdoors/indoors) but wearing a serious down parka for the walk between work and home.

    I feel I should illustrate my purchases, sadly coupled with my corporeal self. The fits on so many here are so so spot on and I can never aspire to those given my physiology and psychology. I believe the open jacket pics put me in the best light, especially the N1.

    Second hand via ‘From Japan’ Pherrow’s Single Rider appeared on my doorstep yesterday, really nice heavy (to me!) horsehide in a jacket that works for my proportions. Paid a little less than half of the new price for something that I can’t find any real signs of usage on!
