I'd think that lid would easily match a '50s Era OR or Royal in quality depending on how stiff or flxi the brim is; you are saying 'Cowboy Hat'. Is it a snap brim?? Gotta love a vtg Resistol at any rate.- Monte

That could have been in a time capsule. Just fabulous condition and looks good on the noggin shot. I'm jealous of westerns like that. Modern ones I've handled lately are so far from the old nearly crushable felf that I have handled in my old no-name western. Just love seeing a gem like that... -

Stetson's 150th Anniversary Celebration
Haha. I was going for a cool, old west stare type of face but you obviously saw right through that. Neat wedding/snow pics you had. Our winter has been lacking the usual snowfall but it's all good as long as we get some good rain. -

All this talk of Boss Raw Edge got me thinking I may own one and didn't even know it. It had tiny sweat stitches (which have been removed and replaced w/a sweatband but the hat could still use a clean and block and a ribbon too. -
