Selling this beautiful pair of Trophy Clothing Arrow engineer boots made in Japan by Attractions.
They’ve got that perfect 40s/50s silhouette that nobody has got it yet as nice as Attractions imho. Sleek but not overly so and they achieve that by still leaving lot of toe room.
Leather is...
Bit off topic but I read a lot of talking about collection and collecting jackets… in my mind owning lots of clothes doesn’t really make one a collector more of an hoarder :)
I think a collection to be defined as such needs to have some internal logic? I see somebody like Terry or Carlos being...
Ordered through Bakers and received in December 2020.
Brown dress leather which is a very sturdy yet supple hide that will age beautifully to show the lighter brown base (Teacore).
Spec’ed with brass hardware, leather lined, vibram half sole and soft toe.
Size is US8.5 in C width. I’m...
Crompton’s got a bit of an encyclopaedic approach to men’s style which I don’t particularly like but some articles like this one are an interesting read.
There was a nice article yesterday on Permanent Style .com where the discussion was about wearing clothes that match your personality. Not leather jackets but some interesting reflection points nonetheless.
The bottom line is that we can see a picture of Johnny Ramone and think how cool would...
Up for sale this brown shinki HH cafe racer with full bi-swing back from the Rainbow Country.
Construction is impeccable and the leather is as good as it gets. It’s the most gorgeous shade of brown I have ever seen on a leather jacket. The depth of the colour is really amazing. Lighter brown...
The more I look at them the more I’m convinced they are making a cross over between this aesthetic
and vintage classic designs. Does it work? Not for me…
Hercules looks ok the leather togs looks really off. It seems almost they are taking those avantgarde leather jacket patterns *yak* and transferring vintage designs onto them. The folks at S&S though speak highly of them on SF so at least the construction should be good…
Once a month or so I normally receive a “1£ max selling fees” offer lasting for a couple of days and then it’s when I list stuff. As for the bank account info I just have an old secondary bank account where nothing gets paid into, the same I have linked to PayPal. I got my card hacked a few...
Manifattura Ceccarelli now are making jackets and coats under their own brand. Their selling point is that they use all natural materials. Not my style but the quality looks solid to me.
Fully agree with this. 12.5oz unsanforized denim is where is at for me.
Not sure vintage fabrics ever exceeded 14oz so anything above that it is a product of the 2010’s raw denim fad in my eyes. There are interesting modern fabrics don’t get me wrong but they hardly look anything like vintage...
If I were in your position I’d try to sell them, recoup a little cash and just get a new pair in a sleeker last. I’m not a fan of bump toes.
I get that you need the width but do you also need the height? People also say that CXL stretches out a lot so maybe Lofgrens might work out?
As for...
If you are like me and don’t tolerate cold very well then a Woolrich Artic Parka imho is one of the best options.
For me the N1 is ok down to 5C but below not warm enough. Ciao ;)
