I am almost %100 sure I had Covid back in January. I did not move for almost a month (no flu ever felt like what I had) and that kept me off of the internet so I saved a lot of cash. Lol. No internet time = saving money.
I cycle a lot, almost everyday and the wind here is my nemesis. Around noon everyday it is like someone hits the switch on the wind machine here. Been trying to get my wife to move to Vancouver Island for years now but that ship has sailed.
Anyway, welcome to the prairies of Canada. You've...
Three season jacket? I am just down the hall in Regina and I would call that a winter only jacket but I have lived here my whole life. Tennessee to Sask must be a shock. The wind here is a real bummer.
Interesting piece. I have been on the hunt for some real Inuk-made sealskin mitts. They'd be...
Can anyone please tell me if Thedi's canvas jackets are the same price or cheaper than in leather? I've been wanting another shawl collar but in canvas not leather. If they are cheaper than the leather versions I think I'll do it but not if they are around the same price.
Good news on the positive review. I have a Freewheelers jacket waiting to be sent to her to get an inch off of the sleeves. Reading the positive outcome here is really easing my mind about it.
Try misting the wool lining with a spray bottle then once damp enough, slowly try and stretch it back. I've done it to wool sweaters before and it has worked.
Machine wash on a gentle cycle and lay flat to dry has worked for me also.
Well then, paying more import taxes should be no concern if LW does that. Even more incentive to send back the jacket for the inspection LW requires. I seriously think LW will fix things once they get it back.
Same here in Canada. %12 GST is added plus a handling fee. When Langlitz did a remake for me they declared the jacket as $25 so I would not have to pay tax on it again. All LW would have to do is declare at a really low value since Monitor already paid the taxes on it.
I stopped drinking the LW kool-aid a long time ago. I did consider a G-1 this past winter but am thankful I did not order one.
This thread is a nightmare. I feel empathy for Monitor and his piss-poor experience.
On a side note, I would have waited until this is sorted before posting a thread...
Close but still a bit big in the chest so I think it has to go back for another alteration. I know I won't be happy with it as is, but the jacket should be darn near perfect when it comes back.
That Harley is not my thing either, but I like mine more skinny. Whatever blows your hair back.
This is old shovel with a narrow glide is the bees knees.
I actually ordered this at the end of December 2019. It had to be sent back for a remake of sorts and this is version two. The second version was stalled by them being closed down recently.
