Vintage Stetson that I reworked from a typical 3x beaver felt and converted it into a more traditional looking fedora with a wider crown ribbon and brim binding. Measures 23 3/8. Brim is 2 3/4. Blocked on a 6” op crown block.

Thanks for comments everyone. It is a size 7 1/2. I thought it was for sale until I tried a few jackets on and realized how well this hat worked with them. So for now I’ll hang onto it .

Third time a charm? I hope so cause this is the third incarnation of this old Stetson 3x now. I decided to go with a wider crown ribbon after I dig up a compatible brim binding in a similar color.

Mild for a moment here enough to wear a suede goatskin . Newer jacket but it’s made in Italy and is very comfortable with wool knit cuffs and collar.
