Bowen , not sure what was in the De glazer liquid, bought on recommendation of my local cobbler, but it worked well . He also recommended to use saddle soap afterwards to soften it up, which i did apply sparingly and would not darken it as well. Wanted to leave it natural looking as possible but...- bond

Vintage 1940s Goatskin jacket made in Sweden . I just finished conditioning the leather after stripping the old shiny shellac finish off. Vintage 1940s Goatskin leather half belt wool lining. Brown
Decided to keep this one. Found out how to deglaze the old shine so I stripped the finish and removed the shoulder pads that were huge, now the jacket is fitting perfect. Also eased the elastic hem at waist and now that’s most comfortable z Here’s a pic of where it’s at Sent from my iPhone...- bond

Stetson 3x vintage early 60s . Lot of work on this one starting with getting it washed a couple of times to soften up the felt to make it more pliable. Trimmed the brim to a healthy 2 3/4 and forsake a traditional binding for a triple stitch brim finish. Color of felt is a light green sage... -
