HBK - I attach the leather to the strip of twill first, then that assembly gets sewn into the cap. I find it's neater for me - easier to control on a normal sewing machine. I don't have dedicated sweatband machine like our master capmakers, so that has been my workaround! I've seen a few vintage...- Stuffsmith
