This was a blast. I used the only period pattern I've ever found to create a cap - a 1917 Progressive Tailor article with a pattern included. It was like an archaeological dig, not knowing what it would look like until it was nearly done. It's an odd one, but I really like it!

I've just finished resizing this 1920s Canadian cap from the dead (6 5/8" dead!) and I couldn't be happier. The pinwale corduroy fabric kicks my butt.
That's a very cool cap, Mike! Interesting design, beautifully fabricated - with some unusual and cool details. I particularly like the cork visor and the little triangular flaps that fold at the peak ends. Nice!!
