Looking as good as ever, my friend! The Borsa is great, but that Knox velour just does it for me. Love the matching overcoats too! Now that feels like home again and all fellas are around, I'll need to show up here too, I guess ;)

    G.B.Borsalino Fu Lazzaro & C. <1936

Thanks for posting it, Daniel. It is really a beauty! Love the bow. Does it have a felted edge or an overwelt? I think that's the first fuzzy Fu Lazzaro I see "in the flesh" and one of the very few pre-war Italian with longer nap finishes-two or three that I can confidently recall. Good to see...

Sorry Joe, I missed that during my absence! As you, I had this one on my watchlist for a looong time but never pulled the trigger, seeing it now I realize I should have, but I am very happy you (your wife) did! Great hat!!

Very nice, Steve! I love the liner. The original paper bag is also a bonus. I've seen these wide fabric bands before on stiff felts, but always as a temporary/travel protection over the ribbon band, never behind and stitched. Interesting

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Whoa! Surprisingly though-given there are two great velours on the menu- I would pick the Cervo had to go with one. Please do me a favor and talk our good Italian friend up to find me one exactly like that ;)

" The Great British Hat Makers "

Sweet! Browns don't come up all that often. Do we have evidence for other than Czechoslovakia-based velour makers for Dunn&Co?
