Another one from the Norwegian-German exchange last year. I had this one on my watchlist for a long time. Bayerland F.G.M. velour in black with sharkgill bow Some wear and tear on the sweatband and a grease stain on the liner but the felt seems intact. For that price I would buy them every...- PanosChris

Now that we're all back, time to see some more old woolies. Auction pics - Not my hat I saved them because of the fine details that can really transform an otherwise plain black wool hat. That makes much more sense than importing ready velour felts and having someone else finishing the hats for them. My assumption (general) was mostly based on the small G.A. initials or mismatch on big vs small or non G.A. between liner and sweatband found on post war Dunn & Co until the full...- PanosChris
