The real deal from the fleamarket:
French 30's shirt by "Paris Cravates" with exchangable collar sewn to the shirt.
Salmon-color birdseye sports shirt... seems to be homecrafted. But what a soft and long collar!
Blue-striped shirt from Vienna... this one is probably early 50's.
These kind of fancy liners, together with the waistcoat cut (only 2 pockets) and the rear vent strongly suggest 1960s.
However I like the conservative cut... the high waist with cuffed legs and the jacket cut give it a mid-20s style IMO.
Astaire's DB on the first pic is wonderful, but the diamond weave suit on the left eclipses him.
Also the combination of the fellow to the left on the second photo is a perfect balance of elegant and casual.
Alas the boater and flower IMO make Astaire look slightly "goofy".
I hope they are what you expect them to be.
You have been made aware that they are 100% Polyester, and I think that you will soon enough recognize that one pair of wool trousers are better than four pairs of polyesters.
Almost everyone pays some amount of "apprentice's dues" at the beginning...
Splendid find! Love all those details.
A photo of the jacket on the body/puppet would be good to see the silhouette... to me at least it looks rather mid-20's.
Glad the civilized Western world is immune and firmly set against violence and money-grubbing./sarcasm
Back to the topic of manufacturing in "third world" countries... Western consumers want more and cheaper crap, Western companies seek more profit at ever cheaper costs. Western leaders also...
I have no car either! :p
But you are certainly right that Berlin i.e. has been grazed.

A genuine Bavarian sport suit ca. 1928 - 1934.
Heathered medium weight brown wool. Simple suit front but pleated belt-back.
The wide, straight trousers have interesting detailing and a big yoked back...
The course of history is often influenced by small and random factors.
However it did not cost Hitler "victory" (ok, the author qualifies that later on).
By mid-1944 eventual defeat was pretty much decided.
Only a question of how soon and how costly.
The scenario the author suggests - Hitler...
"One weird trick" and "[Insert Profession] hate this mom" online advertisement. Marketing stooping to a new and irritating low.
(Ok - online ads are blocked at my PC, but when not on mine, I see them everywhere and goodness are they annoying...)
For those who are curious what expects you...
Yes, no doubt this was quite common and I can well imagine that a flask and a bag with tobacco were among the stuff carried around. :D
But the pinkish suit has quite a pocket overkill (6 on the vest, 6 on the jacket and 5 on the trousers - yes it has two rear pockets plus fob pocket).
I've got two pairs of ankle boots, which I can't date... (brown and black).
Will post some photos tomorrow, as you guys are certainly more knowledgeable than me on this.
