Absolutely not an option.
Striped (they are not "pinstriped" but an own category... there were also check and houndstooth) morning trousers belong to the cutaway and Stroller/Stresemann (simple black jacket).
Tuxedos are evening wear - so they are mutually exclusive.
Don't care for the fad, but ¨Cronuts¨ get my approval.
Puff pastry, whether savoury or sweet, is great and I never really liked varieties of oil-fried dough (donuts or their hole-less European cousins).
Regarding gluten-free, I once accidentally bought penne pasta made from corn & chickpea...
Patrick, I don't think the single link button is too formal... true it is often found on tuxedo jackets, but I think it rather makes it playful and relaxed.
It was not unusual on European sportcoats/suits:
Here three brothers from Sweden, everyone sporting a link-button sport suit...
I couldn´t care less what hats Mr. Williams (or any other celebrity) is wearing. This doesn´t bother me at all.
The downside is that it feeds the narrow-minded assumption of way too many people that someone wearing a hat must be mimicking some celeb.

The name means "Feine Lederwaren" (fine...

Here some (terrible) photos... but...

I'd rather go for a more subtle, narrow-striped, single-color Seersucker.
Dorothy Coonan Wellman had a very natural charm... and even looked great in men´s workwear clothes.
Too bad she didn´t make any more films after 1933 (apart from playing a nurse in a war movie in 1945) as
I liked her acting in The Wild Boys of the Road (1933):
She also was one of the...
