Also while the button stance is high (good) the vest has been elongated to match the low-waist trousers. The proportions are therefore off. And just making lapels wider doesn't quite cut it. RL has done better in the early 90's with the 30-40's inspired stuff. -

Four Button, Faux Pas? A Question
If you want a longer lapel roll and show more tie/shirt, you can have the lapels pressed to roll to the second button. 4 button jackets never really went away... you can find also examples from the 20-50's, although they were rare and mostly for sportcoats. -

For my office/study I got these refurbished 1930's desk lamps: Left a "Kaiser Idell" 6551 from 1935-1950. Right a "Schaco" from 1935-1940 (using the Flash-Logo from 1930-1940). A helpful website for dating period lamps is this French one. See the flags on the side for translation...- Fastuni

This is a reproduction World War 2 standard German Wehrmacht "M40" coat for all ranks. The stamp reads "Fakemaster Augsburg suit-factory", used by one reproduction manufacturer to signal that this coat isn't original. I assume it got to the thrift store via a reenactor.- Fastuni
