Speaking of travel bags, murses and such ...

I love Gladstone bags. Infinitely useful and capable of holding so much more than other types of bags. My gladstone is sitting on top of my bookcase.

A good clockmaker can sort out the timing issue on the clock. Or you can, if you're patient enough. Why on earth would it be necessary to have a coin-operated clock??

"Eating For Victory" - Healthy Homefront Cooking on War-Rations

That's the title of the book which I purchased from the local bookshop last week. It's full of 100% reproduction, colour scans of old posters and government recipes from the British home front of the Second World War. It's 160 pages of facts, food and fascination. Chapters include...

    History Channel Gone Wrong

And of course, the sad thing is, most things are not worth anything. Or at least not nearly as much as some people seem to think. There was this one episode of 'Pickers' where they outlined stuff that people ask them about CONSTANTLY...and which simply aren't worth anything. Among other...

    The Antipodean thread

I think they said the same thing about the famous "Murder, She Wrote" series. The number of crimes that happened in Jessica Fletcher's home town made it some ridiculously high percentage higher than even the most crime-riddled city in the country/world at the time.

    Show us your vintage home!

That is very impressive. I love the vintage nicknacks that she has lying around. Like the suitcases, typewriter, the collar-box on the shelf. I wish there were more pictures, though. I reckon its' a very interesting story.

What kind of Camera did Bogart use in the Maltese Falcon

There is no radio in his apartment. There IS a radio on his desk. I have a screenshot of it. I can also get shots of his telephone/s if you want that.

What kind of Camera did Bogart use in the Maltese Falcon

Early-ish in the film. Where Spade arrives at the site of his partner's murder. I think it's like the police-photographer or someone, taking pictures of the crime-scene. It's the only camera in the film.

What kind of Camera did Bogart use in the Maltese Falcon

I just finished watching the Falcon again...there was only one camera in there, and it wasn't used by Bogart. I reckon you're thinking of another film. I can take as many screenshots of his office as you want, though, if you're trying to recreate that.
