Bunch of vintage German flat laces I found.
The top one are interesting... they are elastic and have a button to secure them at the bottom lace-hole.
You don't have to string your shoes, but can just slip in.
You might be thinking of this one.... it has a single breast pocket.
But it is too short for me...
I will wear it however with my trusty off-white summer sportcoat!
That answer certainly covers it.
What I tried to convey was that the terrible ordeal and death of millions of Soviet POWs - most already in the first seven months after "Barbarossa" (certainly rightly described as one of the "most concentrated mass killings in history") is largely overlooked...
Back to topic boys... ties!
Tasteful ties without any fiddling cowboys or Kindergarten doodles.
These two are German rayon ties I found in a box full of used ties.
I will have to shorten the edge of the left one, as it has some damage.
Greenish ties are quite hard to...
Where did I say that Colditz was a concentration camp?
My point was that a lack of awareness among the general public about places like Colditz is something I wouldn't worry about too much.

The British DB is lovely. I'm not sure that it is a demob, though. The high button stance and silhouette suggest a 1930's date IMO.
The "mismatched" tweed is an interesting combination, but to be honest looks a bit too much like an attempt to create a "suit".
The single pieces on their own are...
