To suit or not to suit?

To suit or not to suit, That is the question, Whether 'tis nobler, In the mind to suffer, The Slings and Arrows, Of Outrageous Fashion... I'm very familiar with hot climates. And I couldn't possibly imagine wearing a wool suit in such a situation. I agree with the suggestions for linen, cotton...

Are There Any Men Who Do Not Talk Much Left?

I personally have always been a quiet-loving person. I hate loud noises and places. And I have a lot more fun standing or sitting around with friends and chatting in a quiet restaurant or a private room at a bar or something, rather than in some noisy, pulsating nightclub where my ears feel...

I'm kicking myself for passing up the chance to buy a 1910 edition of Mrs. Beeton's Household Management. But I did get a 'consolation prize', which was a 1980s reprint of the original. It'll be a handy historical reference for my writings.

    What Are You Reading

It's strictly online at the moment, Smithy. The company I write this for is very very VERY new (only a year old tomorrow). They only have one magazine currently in-print. All their others are online (like mine).

    Vintage Sunglasses

If it were at all practical for me to wear standalone sunglasses (and sadly, it ain't), then I'd love a pair of Aviators. They're so simple and sleek. I love them! I hate things that are cluttered and overdecorated.

    'Child soldiers of WW2'

Wish I could watch this, all the way over here in the Antipodes. But it looks fascinating. And congratulations with the book. It sounds like a fascinating and under-researched subject.

At what weather temp is it time to put fur felt to sleep for the summer?

Anything above 25'c and I'd be wearing my Panama or boater or a soft cap. Felt hats are for colder weather.
