Sergej, Some fine hats You've chosen and Daniele's and Big J's suggestions are very good as well. If price is a concern the Penman may have to wait.
I think an Akubra Camp Draft is another hat no one regrets buying in any color you can get.

Forgive me if this one has come up before. $898 is a lot for any hat but, hey it looks really nice so they can ask whatever...
Thanks Moon, It shaped up well but it's got ground in dirt and spots that are never coming out. Fine with me, it's still vintage Stetson quality, I got it cheap and I'll wear it on the hottest most humid days this summer and save the nicer hats for cooler days.
Fruno-I could look at that Akubra everyday and not tire of it
S4C-What a glorious find. Love the frayed ribbon and Cavanagh edge.
Case-The CRM is a favorite along with the whole outfit! I especially like the retro Denim jacket with the Converse
Miami-Just Wow! What a great pic. I think I'd make...
One of my liners.
I didn't sew it in as I keep hoping to find a ruined, cheap donor hat from a similar time period with a liner I can rob ( I know, fat chance right?).
Most will stay in place just fine with nothing attaching. Better nothing than glue. As others have said, if it's a summer hat you might want to remove the liner anyway.
Just beautiful, Daniele. Your country's respect and preservation of it's past is truly remarkable. Not to mention how great your wines are!
I tend to favor Tuscany brands myself but that has more to do with what's available here than any knowledge of what's best in Italian wines.
Bowler, Great Great hat. Love the sweep of the brim and what a great color and matching ribbon work. Mr. Moore continues the excellent quality work and business practices.
Thanks for showing this, Fruno. Very nice and nicely done!
We see a lot of Feds and Camp Drafts (for good reason) but it is nice to see other models. I didn't know the "Fedora" came open crown.
I'm pretty sure you're right on here. Look at the brass ferrule or eyelet below her knee. It doesn't have the patina of time but looks like bright brass.
That and 26 years in and around the advertising business. There are prop houses that do stock things like this that they get from all kinds...
