Fwiw it looks good. Are you sure it doesnt just need a chance to break in?
It’s a good jacket but mobility and layer ability are just lacking. I am personally big into layering and anything thicker than a t-shirt reduces the mobility in this jacket greatly.

Not trying to be rude, or anything, but I bought a 1950s Half Belt from Aero for 550€ a couple weeks ago, from here.
Maybe I got very lucky, but that listing was here since August and started at 650€.

I'm not interested myself, just trying to help.

Appreciate the help. The only reason I’m selling for so much is because it’s hardly a year old, hardly worn, and I’m trying to get as much back from it as I can. Thanks

Hi — From experience, you might have better luck if you post a price in the description so members don't have to link to your auction. Good luck with the sale! Paul

Although it looks to be nice jacket in fine condition I think you might need to prepare yourself to take quite a hit if you do want to sell it.

A new Aero Leather jacket can be a sizeable investment and it’s understandable that someone would want to recoup as much of this as possible when the jacket is sold. However, on a good day a used Aero can sell for around 50%-60% of the new retail price but more often it will be for less at somewhere between 30%-45%. Auction sites such as eBay are a great indicator as to where the secondhand prices currently are.

Still, you might be lucky in attracting the right buyer at the price you’re wanting but it could depend on how long you’re prepared to wait as it could take a while.

Is trading in this jacket for one which fits you to your preferences an option ?

Thanks for the advice. When it comes to trading it in I’m afraid that is not an option. I bought this custom jacket through Turston Bros which means my only option would be to send it back to them and at most get around 60% if sold.

I don’t know the original price but to be honest I think you’ll be doing well to achieve above 60% of whatever was paid.

Issue with Aero is the supply is unlimited. Therefore resale value is not that great.
I guess the OP is looking to capture risk and liquidity premia: He's got a jacket that has precise measurements, which might entice a specific buyer, whereas Aero has a bit of 'tolerance' on some of their measurements that others don't like. I know that my preference would be a gently used jacket with precise measurements I know work, vs. rolling the dice on the +/- 0.5 inch tolerance in something like the sleeves with a custom Aero. There's also a premium on this one being available right here and now. I don't think either of these premia are that large, but they would be something.

There's also some miscommunication here that's leading to the roasting, I think. The $1300 in the ad doesn't match the $1000 BIN price on the ebay auction. Perhaps the OP just hasn't updated the price here, and I'm sure they'd take <$1000 here vs. the $1000 ebay minus fees, so I'd wager an offer of $950 would take it.

Just changed the listing recently. The edit option seems to be unavailable so I am unsure of how to change the price to 1000 on here. Thanks
