Amazing how many names and slogans would cause snickers today. I don't think a family restaurant would have "we love your children" as an ad slogan for very long and survive in this day and age. "Waitresses, ooh la la" probably wouldn't go over big with the HR department either.- frussell

Horse hide break in
In this part of SoCal, it works just as well in the back of my hot car. I leave it in there while I'm out and about, then get it out and wear it back into the air-conditioned house, moving as exaggeratedly as I can. Seems to work great, and I don't have to wake up the baby with a clanking...- frussell

G1 Jacket Restoration & Leather conditioning
My issue as a former leatherworker (cowboy gear) with neatsfoot has less to do with going rancid as it does with the above-mentioned stitch damage, and over-penetration. A dry piece of leather will soak up neatsfoot like a sponge, and will sometimes become heavy and less breathable. I watched...- frussell

Lined vs. Unlined hats
