It might not a new hat or hats. But is new (old) hat boxes. Found these two vintage Dobbs hat boxes in an antique store located at Trax Farms Market near Finleyville, PA. Can't get enough of Dobbs!
Just got my new/old Champ back from cleaning and blocked. I think it turned out great. :) This is the one found in an antique shop few days ago. Only wish it fit me. :( It's probably a 6 7/8 or 7.
Upon returning to the shop found the other Champ had been purchased.:( Oh well, those who hesitate are lost. Did however drop mine off yesterday at a local hat shop to be cleaned and blocked. We'll see how it turns out......

Anybody know anything about Champ "feel the felt" hats? Just found it in a local antique store a purchased for a mere $10. Thought at that price how could anyone possibly go wrong. But I know nothing about it. Can anyone shed some light on my latest find? thanks.
Dressed up my Dobbs for summer today. Took the lead from Memphislawyer and ordered a couple new ribbons from Buckaroo Hatters in Covington, TN. Mike Moore was easy to talk to and work with. He quickly sent this plaid ribbon for summer time.
Thanks Mike and thanks Memphislawyer!
