I stumbled on this Boater last summer in a local antique store. Was purchased originally at Stern Brothers Dept Store in Parkersburg, WV. Owners initials R.W.C. can be seen inside. Anybody have any ideas on it's age? The store it came from closed sometime in the late 1950's. thanks!- crawlinkingsnake

This Akubra Kiandra is my latest find. Purchased last fall at The Mad Hatter in Savannah, GA. With the recent cold temps had to hang up the straw and dig the fur felt back out. Love this hat and love the shop on River Street. Extremely comfortable and a perfect fit at a 59cm aka 7 3/8.- crawlinkingsnake

There's not a good hat shop near me in Parkersburg. If there was I'd go try some on. Nearest is Columbus or possibly Kelley's Men's Shop in Charleston. But I now see a coupon for Hats in the Belfry for possibly another Biltmore? We'll see....... thanks again!- crawlinkingsnake

Boater faction!
I purchased a Boater yesterday at an antique store. Probably from around 1950. Same ribbon as the one on top. But not same weave.
