This is my FQHH Dustbowl after approximately 9 months of almost daily wear...Not much by Aero standards. The odd shower of rain, though no drenchings

Apologies if I am being a bit dense here but I am curious as to why Aero and Eastman (ELMC) both use the Windward name for one of their jackets especially as they are quite different in style,or maybe because of that-I looked through the ELMC products thread but did not see any reference to this...
Hi Tomek61
I have a Hudson with a brown alpaca lining-I bought it as a cold weather jacket to be layered with a decent sweater but have been wearing it on cooler evenings and mornings(circa 55F) with just a cotton long sleeve shirt underneath....After a typical two mile walk in these...

Yes,I was thinking of the drop panel front of the Aero Dustbowl-Please see comparison picture. The King Of The Road picture is probably a STF for the Japanese market so possibly not a good comparison. The measurements relate to my jackets however. For the future,I'm contemplating an Aero...
Hi Monitor
Yes, it is horsehide-Its actually quite malleable and nice to wear especially in a hot sunny day as it is today.I was really pleased to win this auction...the quality of the hide and zips and fastenings is so much better than anything I had owned before

I cannot detect any noticeable drop on the front panels of the jacket. The zip length is 22"-I don't know what vintage the jacket is as it was a Ebay purchase-The previous owner kindly left me his dice!

Mostly in reply to Edward
My Aero King Of The Road is a nominal size 46" chest with a 26.5" back measurement,27" sleeves and 20" across the shoulders. The waist measurement is approximately 42.5" taken about .5" above the hem.I think it is a superb jacket and I imagine very complex to make.I...
I'm fond of the King Of The Road as it was my first Aero and funded by being knocked off my motorcycle nearly two years ago-It was an Ebay purchase and set me off on the trail of fine leather, probably for some time

Remember the heady, indulgent days of fine Turkish and Oriental tobacco in cigarettes?-I stopped smoking some years ago but occasionally burn one of these veterans purely for the aroma.I presume the cigarettes with cardboard tubes are of Russian origin, similar to the Kazbek brand once sold by...
Mid 60's for me depending on humidity but I tend to go out in cold weather just so I can keep warm, if that makes any sense.Since becoming a recent Aero fan, nothing seems to make sense anymore
Best wishes

Thanks for the update Big J-I have re-read the Aero Trial Narrative thread but see no reference to Nigel Cabourn or Coastal Command jackets
Best wishes
Peter
Thanks Navatsea
Probably not bad for a 30 year old jacket.Nigel Cabourn doesnt appear to do much in leather apart from a Coastal Command sheepskin jacket made in Scotland apparently

Good Morning!
Not sure if anyone would wish to see this but this is a Cricket brand bomber/aviator style jacket designed by Nigel Cabourn in the early 80's.I bought it from Fenwicks in Bond Street in their 1984 Spring Sale and remember paying circa £85....People thought I was mad(How much!) but...
