    The Cap Faction

Hat People make great hats, no doubt about it. Of the two I bought, I only have one now. That's because I determined the cut and the color of the material of the first hat were just not for me, not due to any lack of quality in the hat itself.

    The Cap Faction

She looks great in it, univibe88! That's a great hat for her! Hey Neophyte. I think when I've ordered from Hat People (two separate occasions), I received the hat within about two weeks. They say they have a bunch of the hats near completion in stock, but just need to sew the headband...

    R.I.P. to a mint Mallory

Man. I'm sorry for your losses, lci419 and Aureliano. It's a rotten feeling when you lose a hat in such a manner; especially one that was such a great find in the first place.

    Jimmy Stewart Treasures Old Hat

Thanks so much for posting this! A very nice article. Jimmy Stewart is probably one of my favorite actors in his time.

Where do you hang your hat?

Hi Tim. I actually cannot remember the exact name of that model rack. However, I did buy it on Ebay, and just looked up the seller. The seller on Ebay is "everyday_furniture". They do have some similar racks listed currently. One might be to your fancy...

Where do you hang your hat?

I prefer the standing hat racks myself. I got a nice one on Ebay a few years ago. It's new, but has a vintage look to it. It holds eight hats, and usually has every prong taken.

Looking Forward to 2011? Vintage Aspirations for next year?

I'm hoping to progress in my career and perhaps my business, and increase my personal income to become more stable and independent. Vintage wise, I'd love to have more space to get more antiques and continue my collection. Of course, for that to happen, my first wish for next year has to happen.

ATTN Loungers: How old are your fedoras? (UPDATED)

If this poll is going to be open for a year, I can see some people's answers will change over time. That will be interesting.

    You shouldn't have

I agree with this spot on. It totally depends on who the person is. If it is someone you can truly be honest with, then there is nothing wrong letting them know politely that it really isn't your style.

ATTN Loungers: How old are your fedoras? (UPDATED)

Most of mine are modern, and include several Akubras and a VS from Art. Among my vintage fedoras, I have a Stetson with Whippet dimensions from the 50's, an Adam Executive from Johnnyphi's auctions, and a Resistol stingy brim from the 60's.

    young people & hats

Perhaps it wasn't clear in my post that I was only speaking of etiquette and manners. In my post, I was speaking only of ways in which a person is taught, or not taught, how to act and behave on a MUCH simpler, and not criminal level. In classical sociological theory, there are two kinds of...
