1960's Resistol Gotham in charcoal grey

Hi all,

I bought this hat online and it arrived from the US in great condition, just some staining on the leather sweatband that came right off with soapy water and a sponge, I wore it in the shower then let it dry on my head.

Looks good Ukali, the small brims fit you well. I think you could also do well with a larger brim if you wanted.

Why, you're the same guy who had on the plaid stingy brim a few months ago. Me and others on TFL thought that that was a completely unworkable hat, until we saw it on you, and to my surprise you pulled it off well. Similary, this one goes well on you. So I am inclined to think you can wear about anything and it will work. So I will no longer consider any hat unworkable--it just needs the right person to pull it off. That particular hat shown above, by the way, looks like a pretty reasonable hat that others might also wear successfully. But I remember that plaid number, and am still astonished at its transformation on your head.
