    Undertaker

I bought an Illinois pocket watch from Undertaker between a year and a half and two years ago, and it arrived greatly packaged and for a very reasonable price. I would recommend him as well.

    Bought my first vintage fedora

Welcome to the Lounge Mobile! That's a great Adam Executive you found; they're nice hats. Like the others said, be prepared to spend way too much time and money around here! ;)

    Jokes About Hats

:eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap These are all so good! Thanks for sharing and helping me wake up this morning! I'll have to see if I can dig up any good jokes myself.

Let's See Your Watches! The Vintage Watch Thread.

RLK, those are gorgeous! I especially like the Bulovas and the Dom Swiss!

Video games based in the golden era

This is a unique series. I actually never played Sam & Max Hit the Road, although I've played quite a few LucasArts titles from that same time period. I have played Season 1 of Sam & Max, and enjoyed it.

    "Air-Camping"

Wow! Those look really cool, and like a lot of fun. Still, I would have to get used to sleeping off the ground like that.

    The Accursed "Boomerangers"

This is a very scary and real possibility that my dad and I have discussed many times over the past two years. It has definitely led to much higher competition for federal jobs, as everyone wants the job security since the private sector has become so risky. I'm trying to see the silver...

    Vintage Ventilation

AlterEgo, that's a pretty cool story. You should have taken pictures of the hideous sombrero to post here!

    Akubra Overload

I'm really not sure when Moonstone became a color option on the Stylemaster. When I ordered my Stylemaster from Hats Direct, I was not familiar with Everything Australian, and thus went with the color choices Hats Direct offered, which included the Steel Grey as their grey option. It looked...

    Vintage desktops/wallpapers on your computer?

I really don't think anyone will mind. I got some of mine from Google Images, and from others on the Lounge over the past few years.

    The Accursed "Boomerangers"

It can be. Especially if you're a primarily independent person who has had a taste for making it on your own. To be quite honest, I'm still dealing with my own thoughts on living at home, and there are sometimes when I feel like less of a person because of it. I have to stop and remind myself...

    The Accursed "Boomerangers"

I can relate to this somewhat. I'm 25 years old, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology in December of 2008. Before that, I'd had roughly four years of investigative experience in the private sector here in Albuquerque and worked various security jobs. I lived on my own...

    My new Brent Black Panama

Beautiful hat! I have to agree that that weave looks incredibly tight and high quality.

    Akubra Overload

I do like the brim turned up all around when compared to flipping up only one side of the brim, although I agree that this is not a look many can pull off. I guess I'm pretty traditional in that I pretty much only wear my brimmed hats in the traditional "snap brim" style of "down in the front...

How to use real vintage phones on your cell phone line

I must say I am thinking of getting one of these. One question though: can you connect a Caller ID box to the landline phone in some way, or do you always have to go check your cell phone to see who is calling you?

    Akubra Overload

Neo and JB, I'll be looking forward to your new Akubras! If the Moonstone grey would have been available several years ago when I got my Stylemaster, I wonder if I would have gotten that color instead of the Steel Grey. The moonstone is definitely nice, although I do definitely like mine.

The nicest comment I ever heard

It's probably simple psychology. People want what they can't have.
