The slim fit G-9 is just a bit slimmer than their standard pattern- it is by no means skin tight and still a very comfortable jacket.
I've read somewhere that Baracuta have done some very slight pattern adjustments on their standard fit model over the decades. Meaning a 60s G-9 was quite...
Since elk and deer are thick but soft and somewhat spongy they are usually very absorbent (especially if aniline finished). I would be very careful with any sort of conditioner. Use one of these Lexol cotton wrapped flat sponges for conditioning.
I very much recommend Colourlock Aniline...
MUCH better now!! Great jacket, smart fit and beautiful contract...looks super duper on you. It was definitely worth the hassle and the wait.
Say, were you wearing Crocs or shitty sandals today...? ;)
Can't...camera is dead. But they sure look good, especially if you are after something along the lines of Blundstones. I have to say though that the RW version looks much more classy (and classic) due to the stacked and stitched leather/rubber sole. Blunstones always look a bit like Wellies...
I own a pair and they don't look dressy at all. Although they might share the same gene pool with some Trickers or Alden Chelseas they are a pure-bred Red Wing boot. They look rugged and age well. The toe section is very roomy but the overall fit is not too loose or wobbly as on those Red Wing...

Get an A2 from Goodwear and buy a civilian jacket (maybe a used one) from Aero later. I have to agree - it's John's A2s that made the brand so highly regarded.
Superb pictures, very handsome yet natural models and great jackets! Thank you very much! If possible please post some more pictures!! I really dig those!
Great Joppe, Rudie! Darauf 'nen Schulti! Well done!
For some reason I'd never thought about getting a jacket in russet goat but your jacket is very tasty....mouthwatering in fact. Good slim fit (not blousy at all!!) and superb pictures as usual!
I hope you'll get a couple of more cool days to...
Well, I'm not an expert on Ray-Ban but I've had a couple of pairs and even considering the fact that the brand changed hands a couple of times they still make a quality product. If you want to buy American please consider American Optical - top notch product!! Ray-Ban is currently owned by...
Welcome to the lounge!
This is the most important advice I have for you (I have to quote Lenny):
Don't put too many pockets on your jacket. You probably won't use them and too many pockets look silly especially if you stuff too many things into them. The less you carry around the neater...
That's obvious isn't it? His tracksuit and the grandson of your Star A2 went to primary school together and school fees were 200 Dollars per year. :eusa_doh:
Great attire, Griff! Love the pants, jacket and sweater. Your neck looks a bit bare though. It would look more "complete" if there was a shirt collar, white t-shirt or henley shirt visible. I thin summer linen scarf would also look great... Apart from that you have good taste and great stuff!
Thanks for the superb pictures, Andrew! ...But I still can't get over those granny house slippers Wagner is wearing. They look awful!! (I bet they are even fur lined)
Look at those crepe soled Sanders "Playboys" McQueen is wearing. Great stylish shoes. I love them.
This is what they look like these days:
Andrew, thanks for clarification. I knew that someone of the true experts would chime in! Strange that my picture doesn't show...for me it does.
Titel says it. Is this a real B-3 with one collar strap missing or could this be a costume department repro? I'm not an expert on sheepskin...expert views very welcome
Btw: The young Robert Wagner looks dead smart whereas the "King of Cool" looks like he just left elementary school...
