    That seems right, wcbrown. I would think that it's authentic and was manufactured in 1964. Maybe it escaped being worn due to it's larger size or just wasn't ever worn/used for whatever reason. It looks great! Enjoy it. Mine in a 1965 Lee 101-J. It's funny how mine has an "R" on the tag below...

    My mistake. I didn't look before I posted. I was going off of memory (which was faulty). My "A-2" is labeled: JACKET, COLD WEATHER, PERMEABLE. It was manufactured by So-Sew Styles Inc. in 1985. - Ian

    I own a repro Buzz Rickson N1 deck jacket that I love! I also own a Pike Brothers Navy Blue zip deck jacket, which is great! And, I own an original A2 Deck jacket (impermeable jacket). It's a terrific jacket, as well. - Ian
