^ I really have no idea, but could it be his first and middle initial along with the last three of his serial number? I'm sure someone will know for sure.
And, welcome to The Fedora Lounge!

On the up side, you didn't spend a lot on this one. So, now you know.
Why not just get a surplus GI issue M-65? There are many great ones to be had, for reasonable prices, on ebay.

Or sleep in the jacket for a couple of nights. I did that to begin breaking in my GW A-2 back in the fall of 2010. When I did that, I think the collar broke-in the most.

I would think so. However (and you probably are aware of this), if you're looking for a coat in the winter, on ebay, the price will likely be higher than it would be out of season. Then again, the selection right now is much larger.

Seriously, it's great and Nicole isn't too bad either.
I love the 1904 Mansion project. But, it really ended abruptly (at least the episodes of it seemed to).

I have a Good Wear A2 and used a hanger for the first month or so after receiving it, but I got worried that the hanger might leave it misshapen (if you will) in the shoulder area. That was in the Fall of 2010. Since then, I have stored it on the top shelf of my coat closet or have hung it by...
I have a 1972 GI issue/mil spec Alpha Industries manufactured M-65 field jacket. I received it in mint unissued condition a couple of years ago. I had owned an M-65 in the past and never cared for the hook and loops on the cuffs. So, I took this 1972 M-65 to the tailor and had him remove/modify...
