I do that - also look for "dryer dry cleaning sheets", but only on non-leather items. I guess it can't hurt at this point...maybe something like Fabreeze - sure, it's chemicals will kill you, but maybe it will smell good :)
Wow, sad to hear yet another small maker is falling into this trap. Makes me wonder just how hard this biz must be.
Hope you guys get settled and I do hope Ciano gets it together...
If the seller tells you up-front, I'd say a lot. For me, I'd have to really want a jacket to put up with that. Only way I could handle it would be if it belonged to a family member...
That's awesome, @MeachamLake - that one is my fave. I still think I will save for that, and I too can't wear a bloody 23" back! I got a NOS CWP 45 and that's about how long it is. I love it, but I feel like I'm wearing a tube top ;)
Oh don't even bring up "long/tall" versions here because the nutters will come out and spit vile about how "unauthentic" it is and make the makers look like thieves. Diamond Dave is making a bunch of new jackets in long that I for one appreciate.
But hey, it's way cool for us tall guys to only...
See, new guy comes in with one jacket.
It fits great, looks great.
Yeah, he knows he's gonna die young 'cause he rides a bike and smokes.

Man, you will do well here!
My downfall is always eggnog and eggnog lattés. Then there's the food, but I'm not bad any more with that. Literally all about the eggs. I am the egg man. Goo goo g'joob
LOL - wife and I are "cleansing" to get back on track and I know I need to drop 25-30. Put on the Ventura last night as I wore the Aero the night before. I was totally sausage. Yep, my lovely GW no longer would zip unless I did some gymnastics. I was totally embarrassed and pissed at myself...
Great jacket! And yes, let's leave the jabs at smoking elsewhere. Certainly a grown man knows all there is to know about what he's doing.
Enjoy the (first) jacket!
@thor - amazing pics! And yes, I have utmost respect for anyone working that kind of weather.
It does make for beautiful pics though, and if those guys say a jacket is warm, it's gospel!
I would think that if one were to use some good treatment like Pecards or Vaseline to the threads, they would be safe from running.
None of the light contrast threads I have with other colors have bled. But Indigo may have different properties...
It depends on the boots. I have two pairs of Chippewa engineer boots and they're to size - 13.
I have another pair of 6" ankle Chippewa and they're a little small.
Red Wing to me are also true to size, but I've only had two pairs, my current being a Muleskinner Iron Ranger.
The other boots of...
