If buying a nylon jacket were as "easy" as leather, I'd have done the Red BR MA-1.
I just don't trust that a jacket marketed as a 44 will fit my 47/48 chest...
*edited for clarification...not that I didn't trust @HPA Rep's thoughts on this. Just too much to risk as it were - esp since Boss said...
In other words, the love you take is equal to the love you make. Substitute thrashing for love and yes, HH and Steer are worth the effort in the end...
Yup, I stand by mine too, but realistically, the wait is not what most people will be able to tolerate. Hell, if I were to get a jacket today, it would likely be Thedi or Aero due to wait times...
In order for that to happen, I'd have to be given orders by my boss (not that one) to go to a meeting where I have to wear that.
Otherwise, it's 100% casual here sans the occasional black tie event. Thank gawd. :)

And now I see why - I love that Cockpit cloth MA-1 I got last year as well as the CPW45 Spiewak. Had I been confident that the red BR MA-1 would be big enough (conflicting stories on...
Bought my son a NOS Avirex HH A-2 a couple years back. It had been in a store window for what looked like a year. The sun did fade parts of it, but not enough to not make the price worthwhile. But, browns surely fade...
My old Hein Gerrick Moto black steer got barely faded on the shoulders...
To that point, I had an A-2 that was amazing, but too small arms. I wet them in hot water, and shoved big, glass soda bottles in them - I had to go and buy them but it worked. Then I let them dry and voila!
As a Vikings fan since 1970, I can tell you @ton312 that I rarely know what it's like to NOT come out on the ***t end of the stick.
If I said I had a tear in my eyes I'd not be lying!
