Out for dinner after an early finish to work on Saturday. I went for my Panama, and Etsuko a Tula palm straw. Shopping on Sunday in my Akubra Capricorn. I’m in Team Shorts! Admittedly, it’s usually with straw, but I always wear my Akubra barbecue hat with shorts for summer barbecues. -

Barbecuing again. Chicken thighs and a bottle of Shiraz I picked up in Australia in February. My second time doing chicken thighs. They turned out great, but still room for improvement. The wine was excellent. The hat was the regular barbecue hat - Akubra Cattleman. -

I had tickets to see him in London with my brother (who was living there) in the ‘90s, but there was a mix-up with the dates and the concert happened after I’d already flown back to New Zealand. It ended up going to a friend of my brother’s. Still bugs me to this day. -
