Beautiful. Looks to be in great condition, like all the hats I see in your amazing collection. What is an old type of wind cord? I don’t see a button, so the only thing I can think of is one with a loop to attach to a button rather than a button to attach to the lapel.

Grilling some chicken thighs in my regular barbecue hat, the Akubra Cattleman.
I wanted a non-tomato based sauce, so went for a tweaked Carolina Gold mustard based sauce. So good! I’ll be making this sauce regularly for pork and chicken.

They tell me bowlers are great hats for inclement weather and it’s been a while since I’ve had the Crosby & co out, so here it is.
I’m losing track of the Crosby & co tracks I’ve shared with this hat, so sorry if it’s a repeat.
I would say “stay”. It does look a nice hat.. I also think it will only take you a couple of trips out o the house wearing the hat for you to feel more comfortable. Take the leap!
