What was the Japanese website. I live in Japan, speak and read Japanese, but I’m having problems finding Rainbow Country online. I mainly get American websites.
These cups are waxed, and pretty solid. The alcohol doesn’t soak into them at all. It does take away from the drinking experience, but they’re certainly better than your regular paper cups…and beggars can’t be choosers!
I’ve looked at those Snutes, and similar, and will likely get myself one...
You pour your own in this bar. Just before it closed, I poured myself a generous amount of Maker’s Mark to take back to our room to enjoy while watching the Olympics.
A quick trip to the South of Wakayama to celebrate midsummer Christmas properly. I wore my Panama for the most part.
The hotel we’re staying at has an open bar in the afternoon (read free drinks) with beer and wine. Needless to say, we enjoyed it. It has a second round in the evening with...
No hat pic, but I was in the Sunbody again.

As a barbecue hat, the stains are less of an issue, but any advice on...
Celebrating midsummer Christmas over here in Japan…not Japan, this is a purely Shoe household tradition.
We started with Minoh Beer, an excellent Stout for me and a Pilsner for Etsuko.
The presents? Arran Sherry Cask and Arran Quarter Cask for Etsuko. Balvenie DoubleWood and (my favourite)...
I just got a second hand Schott 641. I’m very happy with it overall, but the lining seems to have stretched a little and is visible hanging (just a little) out of one of the sleeves.
I’m thinking about pulling it up a little from around the shoulder area and stitching a small fold in the...
Don’t be a stranger during your travels. I have thoroughly enjoyed your posts, and look forward to seeing your adventures on Fedoras Afield. Enjoy it to the utmost, and may your health not only hold up, but improve during your trip.
