Echter Velour - Soleil, possibly late 1920s early 1930. This is only marked Soleil Velour that I have encountered. The Velour is fantastica and is extreme Zephyr weight so super pliable. Greg, Thank you! Yes, the sweatband is reeded on both sides. German and Austrian Stiff Felt Hats often have such sweatbands. The reed on the outer side of the sweatband creates a cushioning effect.- mayserwegener
