    Yes, Dobbs too. I am not sure or I can't remember who had the license. I agree many Americans after the WWII.. My friend that owns a hat store in Augsburg said the Stetson - Mayser Hats sold at a higher price so didn't sell well.

    Stefan, Thanks! I haven't seen a non black Resistol Homburg Hat but my guess is they had them because Wegener had brown, gray and blue Homburg Hats. Could be that there were far less Resistol - Wegener Homburg Hats and black was by far the most common color. That's just a guess. :)

    Mark, Thank you! Side note: Anton Peschel/APN was originally in Neutitschein / Nový Jičín Austria up to WWI and became Czechoslovakia post WWI . APN didn't survive post WWII rationalization and former employees started Anton Peschel in Dinkelsbühl, Germany.
