It depends on what service you use and what's available at the time. I just shipped one for about $76, but when the cheaper methods are available it can be more like $40.
The second one, militaryuniformsupply.com is a TW Kempton sweater identical to that sold by outdoorknitwear.com so from that standpoint it's a matter of cost.
This is a rather interesting looking jacket. 1930s styling but I wonder if it wasn't made for the 1989 Batman film, in a style paying homage to the era when Batman was first created. The YKK sleeve and pocket zips aren't 30s vintage, either they are replacements or the entire jacket is 80s built...
If you aren't sure if you're done growing, maybe now isn't the time to buy a jacket Y could hand down to your grandkids.
If you do buy it now, don't worry about outgrowing it. Just get the right size for now, and adjust later.
I would recommend getting a used jacket by a mid tier maker and...
Leather will block wind and rain (if properly treated) but has little to no insulating value. What you wear under the shell is what will determine how warm you feel in cold weather.
Buy them separately, if they are under $800 you're not liable for the import duty.
Edit: Sorry, I read this at first as you are in the US, not the UK. I don't know what the rules are for the UK.
Beck back in the day was bought by Schott. This is NOT made by Schott, as Legendary is no longer an authorized seller of Schott jackets... probably because they went with a different company to produce the latest run of the Black Stallion.
The Beck 666 jacket didn't have a center seam down the...
A few weeks ago, I found a US Made Middleton Mass jacket in my size, 44. A cross-zip with side laces, epaulets, zip-out lining, inside pocket, long kidney panel with action back. No belt, no coin pocket, no breast pocket.
It was sold on ebay by the Salvation Army, and had an opening bid of...
Get a shovel full of pea gravel and spread it out over a cement floor, sidewalk, or your driveway. Soak the jacket again, and then lay down on the pea gravel. This will be uncomfortable, but you're a tough leather jacket wearer, so not really a problem. Do this for as long as you can stand...
It's something you would consider costume wear if you're not a horseman or riding a motorcycle or maybe a nazi officer's uniform.
I have a pair of 14" Frye Campus boots, which don't go quite to the knee, but maybe a couple inches below, which is plenty for me. They don't get worn a whole lot.
Named after the classic British maker, Vincent, of the Black Shadow and Black Lightning fame, no doubt. It's a slim-fitting D-pocket... Aero told me that it's the same pattern as the D-pocket Ridley jacket, so I guess it's not really new? I guess they just renamed the model, maybe they tweaked...
This was sold as a limited special edition run for the model.
It could be that they are testing the waters to bring it back as a regular run. But that's not how they marketed it.
Customers are not guinea pigs. It's a special edition limited run of 100. Quality expectations should be very...
I don't recall it being that narrow in the chest when I owned it. I think something is off with the photo. I can't remember but it was probably more like 22-23" p2p. It's a tight fit for a 42 (it's tagged 44), and when I sold it I was too fat for it. The board racer has narrow shoulders. The...
