I had my eye on that one. I emailed the seller for a measurement, and if it had been on the larger side of 7 5/8 rather than the smaller side, I probably would have gone for it.

I'm surprised this didn't go for more, being a 7 7/8 and all.

That's fantastic. And it wasn't sold as a "Buster Keaton hat" which is just unexpected.[huh]

    Hat Sightings

Walmart Open Road sighting I was in the Walmart checkout line earlier today when an older gentleman walked by wearing an Open Road (or at least a quality Open Road clone) with a cattleman's crease. He looked the part, too, because he had on a checked shirt tucked into his jeans, but I didn't...

You should be able to take off the wind cord pretty easily. Here is a thread about installing wind cords that should be helpful: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?t=29164 Most people here would recommend spending a bit more and getting a fur felt hat rather than a wool felt like...

    Odd brimless hat....

Most fezzes you see have tassels, but not all of them do. It stands to reason that not all smoking caps would necessarily have tassels either. But if it's a bellhop's cap, shouldn't it have a chin strap?

    Odd brimless hat....

From what I've seen, Lock & Co. sells everything for too much money. The Olney boater they sell for £115 is the same hat that other retailers sell for around £40 or so. Maybe you're paying extra for the nice Lock & Co. box.[huh]

I use two American Crew products together, Pomade and Fiber. Neither one is adequate by itself, but the combination of the two is great.

I dig it too. My new Pinzano Milan fedora looks like it was modeled after it. The color's about the same, but the Adam's hat band looks cooler, and it's cooler because, well, it's an Adam. :D
