The current production Strat has a factory block and a 2-1/2" brim. The FF3 hat being talked about here has an open crown, 2-3/4" brim and (it seems) a higher quality sweatband.

Nice lid, although regrettably very small. FWIW, it is a stingy-brim fedora with a center dent crease and an underwelt brim, not a homburg. If you can change the listing title to describe the hat more accurately, you will do better with the sale.
^^^ excellent explanation Doc. I have a modern overcoat that is just a little too loosely woven. It's fine, even on very cold days, unless a strong wind picks up - then it quickly loses effectiveness. When I know it's going to be windy, I wear a heavy flannel suit under it.
