Good point - I tend to agree. Of course that might, heaven forbid, open the can of worms with the label that reads: "what is a Trilby, exactly?", which has already been opened so many times..... -

Fair enough - but doesn't your suit jacket stick out below the short jacket? Or maybe you don't wear a suit to work. Now that I have one, I find I really appreciate staying dry down to my calves with a full-length raincoat. And are you wearing a hat, or just using the hood? -

What kind of hat do you wear with this coat? I like Bean products, generally, but wouldn't wear that with a suit, or a dress fedora, for that matter. Don't be scared, it's only a hat. My Stetson Royal quality felts have held up fine in the rain. You can find other posts by people who had Stetsons that did not. What's the worst that could happen? Your hat could go wonky, then you'll get to buy a new one.... -

Unwanted folds in jacket
Right now it looks worse on me than it does on the hanger. I'm not sure what you mean by fitted - I think it would be too expensive to have the interior of the jacket opened up and resewn to fit me. -

Yes, the waist is 40 inches; the actual interior measurement is more like 40-3/4. The trousers legs are 10 inches wide, so 20 inch circumference. In their unhemmed state, the inseam is 39 inches, outseam is 51 inches, so the rise is 12 inches.- carldelo
