Moose River Hat
I considered having them send a replacement in the correct size (1 size down from my actual hat size) to see if the quality was any better. I noticed that my hat shipped from Hatco to LLBean in June 2009, so maybe it's from an old, lousy batch. But I don't really want to get into a mail-order... -

The fedora was originally a woman's hat, so it seems correct and fitting. However, the use of an apostrophe in the plural 'fedoras' is never correct. ;) -

I think 2" or less is stingy, 2-1/8" to 2-3/8" is exactly right and cosmically harmonious (on me), and 2-1/2" or greater is wide. One guess what size brim my hats have... -

So, how do the conversions look? Does the newly-formatted lapel behave itself? I've had double vents closed up on four jackets and it is a completely invisible change - how do you judge the results of your 2 to 3 button conversions?
