Pidgeon, it's a great cut! It looks good straight too and I agree with O'haira. Definetely snow white coloring and eyes...I'm turning into a jeoulous green monster..the Maleficent or Shrek look doesn't flatter me at all...lol.- retromom147

I've noticed comments & threads about looking good while setting your hair and wearing bandana's to cover pin curls, but I haven't seen alot about the important role scarves and bandana's played in fashion from the 20's to the late 70's. Curling Problems
I had the same problems and posted a questionaire type post and the ladies here were very helpful. One of them suggested looking for styling products in the ethnic hair care isle of the dept. store and that's what did the trick for me. I thouroughly wet my hair....even if it means getting back...- retromom147

Up do Hi ladies...well this is what I did with my hair later that night after my baby got ketchup in the front of my hair. I had to wash the front out and lost some of the curl so I used a scarf and put all of it up. I got this idea from a movie called Immortal Beloved. It's not really retro...- retromom147

my second attempt at pincurls This is my second try...It was much easier and faster this time. Yay! I was going for Rita's style and Ginger roger's length. I ended up a cross between Lana Turner, and Ginger. I'm pleased though...what does everyone think. Any pointers?- retromom147
