This was directed at my post I'm thinking and believe me it all helps! Thanks. :)
Now to decide and actually do it. My husband's a red head so that's the only thing giving me pause. Though that may sound silly.
But his mother thinks I'm crazy wanting to have red hair too. Ha!
Yes! I think it may actually be better with your skin tone. Do it! :)
EDIT: Also I think EVERYONE feels dumpy or not as glam when looking at Christina or Dita, etc. It's just the way of things. But for what it's worth I think you look really cute in the picture you posted up top.
C-Dot thank you for being so helpful!
And no I don't have the black anymore I grew it out a bit and chopped to a pixie a few months back. I don't like not being able to change my hair color all the time LOL.
I'm all for using a professional brand hair color (ebay ftw!) And honestly I'm all...
Thanks for the info ladies!
So something like this:
I guess I just thought red because every other picture of her she has red hair like this:
Though I was drawn to the other picture. But that chestnut is pretty dark and box color always go super dark on me.
Hairdressers: How can I achieve this color? I know it looks like it has high lights but I'm more interested in the base red color.
Any help would be so much appreciated!
Does anyone know if the Pancake color Amber Rose is the lightest color? It's the first one listed but it's so hard to tell the colors online. I always wear the lightest pinkish foundation possible. Any info would be appreciated.
FINALLY I was able to do a decent vintage manicure.

I'm sure it's been thought of before but I'll repost here the basic steps of how it did it.
Basically what I did this time (instead of trying to tape it which was a disaster) was to draw in...
Susan Thank you! :)
Thank you so much! You made my day. Oh and it is awful here I hear you, some days you don't even want to move it's so hot. Though I lived for a time in Houston, TX which was much worse!
So there is some general friziness here (my 2 year old likes to play with my hair) and I have no makeup on because it's hot as Hades and sometimes you'd rather do just about anything else than have makeup on your face when it's 100 degrees outside.
This is my second ever pin curl set...
I've only ever make the cold cream that you listed. But it seemed to be too thick for my liking, much thicker than my Pond's, not as creamy. Do you get that too? Maybe I mixed too much or not enough water...not sure but I ended up only using it twice and tossed it.
Lolita-
I noticed you said you're not as white as you want on your hair and that you have some breakage. Now I don't bleach my hair anymore (And I'm not a hairdresser by any means) but when I did I used Chi Blondest Blonde with 20 vol developer (same brand) and my hair went white with just...
Oh wow thank you ladies! You made my day. :)
This was the first time in a long time I've done anything to it and I really enjoyed it. I'll have to stop being so lazy and do it more.
I love cold cream still (my skin has never looked better). I thought I'd get fancy and buy a vintage milk glass cold cream jar. Well it didn't come with a lid! So now I'm stuck with a cute jar and no lid and nothing around the house seems to fit it. I've even tried the jars in the fridge...
I finally got something decent today (and of course it's raining).
My hair is finally past my ears on the sides so it's gotten long enough to roll onto rollers without me cursing at it in frustration.
The first one is upclose (black hair is hard to photograph details) and the second one is the...
Just an FYI...I just took a look at my copy and the leopard print ones you're looking at have wires in them. If you read the little paragraph beside them it says that they have wire in them to help keep them in place. I think it just looks like they tie.
I think you're best bet is to just...
