Where are the gaiters?
Gaiters seem to be a standard. I remember seeing an old photo of my great-grandfather wearing leather gaiters when they were building the Hoover Dam. I've always liked them! Does anyone know of a source for them?

Is an ascot too much?
Although I detest the idea of ever doubting a single fashion impulse of my own, I'm asking what I'm sure is a tired old question: Would wearing an ascot (and by ascot I refer to the ascot scarf, or day cravat, worn under the shirt rather than the formal ascot) be too much...
University of Puget Sound class of 2000, BA in History (concentration on Asian and pre-soviet Russian history) and MA in teaching 2004... I returned for the MA after a 3 year hiatus. I only did 2 years of undergraduate there, the rest was at Pasadena City College... I was on the seven year plan!
