C'mon guys we are talking about a leather jacket, not the 18k solid gold Speedmaster that Omega gave to Nixon as a gift (and he refused).
Plus, I've seen Obi in a current issue A-2, he's so slim and the jacket so baggy that he looked pregnant!
I'll shoot my head before wearing a M&S suit.
If you ride supersports (like me) I would suggest to buy a "contemporary style" jacket like Dainese or Spidi (I've two Spidis, one leather and one cloth), but usually they aren't made of hh, but they have the armour.
The other option would be to custom order an Aero Cafe' Racer, a relatively...
Some years ago yes, now it seems they discontinued it. My CAF2 doesn't feel "overthicken" but average horse thickness...I think they did it because when it was introduced most of the customers thought that horse was thicker and more rigid than steer...which is weird.
So...the main problem is that they make a late 1941 jacket and they sell it as a '42? For the three pieces back, I'm pretty sure that if you order a two pieces back they'll make it, for instance, my redskin D-1 has a two pieces back while the pics of the website shows a four pieces jacket. Point...
As promised some pics of my goat A-2 next to a WWII M-422 and the sampel M-422 they are making:
Othe pics of the M-422, which came out very well for what I see, even if Andy says the colour of the goat is wrong and my jacket will be like the A-2...what the experts think about it?
IMO the length of the jacket is just perfect, I was admiring how it perfectly fits...and I'm also a little envious because my HWM is a little too large and I don't look as good as him with that.
I'm talking about Aero B-3 Vs. Eastman B-3 pics...just curious, I heard so many times about Aero inaccuracy but the two military jackets I bought from them, a D-1 and a 1756 A-2, were very accurate IMO....but I'm not very familiar with B-3s.
