I'm getting interested in Aero label...did the current Transatlantic company copy the old Aero Leather NY labels? I noticed that Aero leather Scotland does have many labels available today, but this one is the most famous.
Hello, I usually from an ebay seller called "still made in the usa". I got from him the PER2 and the 641XX, he's located in NJ and he personally goes to the factory and pick up jackets.
For the lenght, I think that 24" is the perfect length for the perfecto, one of the few reason I don't like...
Actually, they are, due to the strikes they have problem receiving the shipments from their suppliers . And the situation there is not fun at all, you can go and have a look by yourself, or just read on the net some article regarding the rate of suicides over there in the last months.

My understanding is that the original Bill Kelso model was a sort of "fictional" WWII military contract they created mixing different particulars from various historical contracts (actually the Kelso looks to me like a more styled version of Roughwears) but it was meant to be a true WWII...
I suppose so, it's 350 euros +50 shipping, but at the moment AFAIK Kelso just has goatskin and perhaps the jacket could come for a little less...

I've two Schotts, a 641xx of heavy steerhide and the PER2 in hh...and they aren't "soft", the PER2 is broken in by the vintage treatment, but the xx still needs to be worn, it's not as hard as Aero heavy hh but close.

Ed, I'm sorry but you're wrong! :P
Brando's jacket in that movie was a 613 with added snaps on the collar BUT not on the jacket, a 618 would have had four snaps on the body...
