I just came back from London.
And being in London, I went to Lewis Leathers...great experience! A nice japanese guy took all my measurements and after having tried some of the jackets they had I departed from 100£ and ordered a navy blue Super Sportsman with white stripes, body one inch...
The jacket is italian and it's made in the Arzignano area, where they have a lot of tanneries and most of the horsehide comes today but...I think in Italy that jacket wouldn't be sold for more than 500 euros. If you're interested on the label there's the interet address of the society which...
TNT, to be honest I'm one of these guys who always found Langlitz's jacket to be cut a little too...abundant, but I've never seen the model that the first japanese fellow wears...which jacket is it?
Do you mean the small leather "tongues"? You can keep them inside the pocket if they are not fastened, they're pocket flaps like the ones of the A-2s or police jackets.
Now that you make me think the jacket would also look good with triangular pocket flaps ala Hartmann...
At least you could find somebody who was able to make this job, I also want a inner pocket for my HB, but I can't any good taylor so I'm thinking to ship it back to Aero.
Yes, the jacket is pretty good and I'm very satisfied, even with the communication problem we had I decided to keep it because...well it's too nice to give it back. Some members here asked a review, they needed a beta tester (or a guinea pig) so I wrote this thread to share some pics, here...
The cut of the jacket allows me to sport a bee's waist... :)

What am I forgetting? The zippers are Ideal vintage brass, they looks like Conmars and they're of good quality but I prefer the Talon replicas of my Aeros.
In conclusion, I like the jacket very much...
By JohnnyJohnny and Shapiro request I post my first review on the FL.
The jacket I received last week is the long time awaited Pegasus D-pocket jacket, a model that somehow took shape on this board thanks to the feedback of the member. Personally I always was into Perfecto-like brown jacket...
Here there are the promised pics, I apologise for the poor quality, the light wasn't good at all. I'm 179 cm, I usually wear 36-37" jackets, I have a 36 hyghwayman and this jacket is more snug

Hello Jeff, I just received a redskin D-1, you can see it here:
http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?60121-Help-Me-Decide-Aero-Rollneck-or-Aran-Sweater
I also wanted a B-6 because I thought it was a more complex design, but there was a waiting list of 14 weeks and they had this...
My skin is very sensitive, and usually I can't wear rollneck sweaters because of that and in general no wool garment in direct contact with the skin, but I feel this jumper very soft and not itchy at all...perhaps because of the magic wool from scottish sheeps?
P.S. Thanks for the link, I see...
JJ, there's no crack, your reviews are serious fun and informative. For the two jackets I mentioned, the XX has a "short zipper" because it's a long jacket, 27" like the old cafè racers of the 60s (think about Easy rider) but it was meant to be fastened like a short one for comfort, IMO it's way...
