Jut want to add my congratulations on completing the A-2. You have done yourself proud. Your craftsmanship is right up there with the top-line jackt makers.:eusa_clap
There have been some human interest stories in the media about brave souls sticking it out in Detroit.Sure, a 5000 sf. mansion for $5000(or less) seems like a gift, but why chance it if there is no likelihood of neighborhood renewal?
AETom,
Obviously your family values quality. Too bad the folks who bought your house took no pride in their dwelling place. Sometimes there is a lot of truth in the saying "you can never go home again."
Thanks for the 30/30 pics, Atticus. My 336 is about 40 years old and seems to like 150 grain bullets. Just iron sights like yours. Buck season beginsthe Monday after Thanskgiving and goes for 2 weeks here. Happy hunting.:)
A lovely cottage, epr25, and the colors are quite common for that type of house here in the eastern part of the US. I can tell that your husband takes pride in having a neat exterior on your dwelling.
Is the attic window glass of different colors? My 1890's Queen Anne has a similar window(plus other front stained glass). p.s. Congrats on the house . I hope it is in sound shape.
