comparing incomparable items from each maker:
You can't order both varieties from both makers, albeit quite similar basic models exist in each range, so these two kind of mark the different ends of the spectrum.
Left is a pair of White's semi-dress with block/90 degree heel, "slim trim" and...
Nice one! Also prefer two pockets over four, but I went for the breast pockets only. I like the straight pockets better than the angled ones, but I also opted against the bi-swing back for the same reason that you stated above: it's just trimmer fitting without it. Granted, mine is not really...
I own two pairs of Wesco's and have owned five pairs of White's over the last few years. I'd say the White's tend to be quite a bit heavier and most of that seems to be coming from their "high arch"-construction.
In terms of quality I can't make out a difference when it comes to their...
I love it! The details of the bi-swing back are much nicer than usual and even the side cinches are special. Great color too and I wouldn't mind about the sleeve's length. If they get any longer, the jacket's body might seem too short in proportion.
I own an Aero Cafe Racer with a plain back and a longer collar strap with two buttons on it. So I can confirm that they will make other variations for you. Btw. the LW version seems to busy for my liking.
In extremely cold and windy conditions, I wear a Talus Cold Avenger mask, or even the Baclava variation under a helmet, both with googles. I seal off the neck with a Merino neck gaiter. As for clothing I resort to an arctic down parka when temperature drops below -10 C. The layering consists of...
As a well meaning feedback on your otherwise great customer pics: I'd leave out the celebs, if they haven't really bought the stuff they are wearing from you. It feels kind of fishy to me to show their pics and imply they got it from you, when they probably haven't.
As an aside: sometimes i wish this forum would also discuss backcountry gear!
Anyway, those dc4's are doing a fair job. I think i'lll still be getting back to cahartth and levi's for the daily grind.
Thanks anyway for all thbe feedback!
I think that CR looks fine as is. The Schott's definitely too tight and the sleeves are supposed to be at least that long on the CR.
Wear it proudly and stop worrying about it. Rather worry about the pants' fit :-) (just kidding)...

thanks for looking!
I love them all! There are days when nothing can beat my plain old M65 and others when it has to be the dufflecoat. And even between the leathers there is none that's truly better or preferred over the rest. So I let my wife be the judge and she chooses this one every time:
Aero Cafe Racer...
I generally don't believe in the japanese denim frenzy. I think they are extremely overpriced and too fragile for a piece of rugged every-day gear.
I fell for the Iron Hearts because of their insanely heavy denim and I have to say I really love how they wear and break in. I do wear them a lot...
Only when you guys start to date peacocks will I be worried enough to leave over to the "General Attire and Accouterments" section.
Until then I leave the circumstances under which Mr. Peacoat of Tennessee has been in the favorable position to behold Mr. JanSolo's undoubtedly ravishing company...
It is indeed a nice one, but at this price point I would prefer this, albeit slightly "dressier" model by Alfred Sargent:

unfortunately sold out, but a true beauty are those "Single Malt Whiskey Chukka" by...
