Harris Tweed Blazer/Jacket

Well folks here is my latest acquisition from OFAS. A Harris Tweed Herringbone blazer. It appears to be from Palm Beach and is skeleton lined or at least partially lined.

I think I may have gotten lucky on this one at it is a size that fits and it may match the tweed vest that my lovely lady made for me. Plus I couldn't beat the price.

Oops! Sorry about that. I just figured that since it wasn't part of a complete suit it fit within the other section. Anyway, thank you I just hope that it at least fits well. And yes I do recall your fondness for Harris Tweed.

Oh I will be sure of that. Right now I can't wait to get my J. Peterman jacket back from the tailors. I went in for a final fitting the other day to get the shape the way I wanted. They're a lovely Austrian couple that have been doing this for about 60 years. I'll post shots of that too.

Well, it has arrived! All I can say is Wow!! It fits almost perfect. I'll need to take in the body a bit but it looks great and drapes well. Hemingway, I think you would appreciate this Palm Beach tweed. I will post pictures when I am able.

I just offered a low price on a wool sportcoat, and I got it. Herringbone Harris Tweed of a lighter shade of brown. The tailoring is nothing special but the new one I have is pretty good in general. Should see it in about a week. Can't wait to wear it this fall.
