Hiding stitching (needle) holes in leather - can it be done?

I had a similar issue with an Aero Highwayman and Holly sent me this white glue like stuff to fill in the holes. Just the job worked a treat and holes barley visible

Thanks Carlos & Monitor. Sounds like sensible advice that I will take on board. Cheers.

    Schott Leather Quality

Hi, yes it's the one from Penny Bizarre. What do you mean Monitor by being wary? I'm wanting a Schott to wear on a bike yes. Are you saying it maybe too delicate for wearing? It does look good though, especially like the brown/faded areas coming through on the wear points.

    Schott Leather Quality

May I take the opportunity to ask those in the know regarding a Perfect 618 on the bay. It is a 1970's black/brown colour, size 36" in excellent condition. I have been outbid at just short of a £100. Not sure if I want to continue bidding but kinda depends on what the going rate is or tends to...

    My Aero J106

Looks great on you Gav. I will be sure to follow its progress here too. I am planning on getting a bike again (after some 20 years off bikes) and will be needing a bike jacket. looking at this style or the café racer. Enjoy your jacket.

    Jurassic World Chris Pratt Outwear

Sounds like you've stumbled on a real find. Would it not be worth considering the investment to get running again? You could sell it or even wear it. Personally I would love a Seamaster but way out of reach. Good luck with that.

Life with ONE great Leather Jacket vs. Life with MANY Leather Jackets

Wow, that is a stunning jacket. Happily trade-in all 6 of my jackets for one as awesome as that.

    *Keeper* leather utility jacket photos.....

Thanks guys for your positive comments, no it's the standard HWM, I too have always thought it fitted me quite well but then I am possibly boarder line 36/38. It's not perfect mind you, the cuffs are a little wide for my liking, Holly, despite my repeated pleas would not slim the sleeves a tad...

    *Keeper* leather utility jacket photos.....

Hope it's ok to reopen this thread, which is a great thread by the way. First time I've shown my FQHH Highwayman. By far my favourite utility jacket. Love the label, requested in favour of the current one, hence me showing it here. Lining is weathered McKenzie tartan.

3 questions about my A2 from the real mccoy's

Just to add, Talon zippers in my experience are quite fiddly anyway. I've used wax candle in the past, works well. Pencil is a bit messy I reckon.

That's really lovely, nice colour leather and buttons match well. Not long had my BK A1 in seal Capeskin. Be interesting to compare. Congrats.

    Original vs. Repro?

Interesting discussion gents. A question for you, what makes a jacket "vintage"? I was thinking of my Aero HWM, its not old but I believe it is "original" in its design. I remember Holly telling me they would no longer deviate from the original design when I asked for some minor customization.

Jacket guys/gals, what briefcase do you carry? Do you match or change bags?

I used to have an "across the shoulder" bag, persevered for as long as I could but just felt too "girlie". I now have a Frost River small ruck sack, a compromise I can handle and get away with. Still prefer no bag really/

Bill kelso Waldo pepper & A1 pics

Thanks Brent. Look forward to seeing your Star A-2. I'm very much a novice when it comes to the finer points of leather jackets so forgive me if I say the WP looks like an A2 in my eyes, just with buttons! I was attracted to it just from BK's web page, thought it looked so cool.
